We are planning necessary server maintenance for all products starting at 5am Eastern on Thursday, December 29, 2022, which will require as much as 5 minutes of down time for each Springshare app (LibApps, LibGuides, LibAnswers, LibCal, LibStaffer, LibWizard, LibInsight, and LibConnect).

There are no changes required on your side. This is simply a notification of the expected down time while we update our servers.

Ex Libris has reported that their engineers have resolved the disruption with our Alma and Primo VE (Search It) environments. We will be upgrading the New Literacies Alliance Open edX instance from Lilac to Nutmeg. During this time, the system will be unavailable.

Update 7/25/22 at 9:10PM Access has been restored to Phoenix. Please submit a ticket if you run into any issues.

Updated 7/15/22 at 11:56AM: The cooling in the datacenter has recovered at this time. I am currently running the disk integrity checks as a precaution, and expect this to finish later this afternoon.

Original Message: Phoenix storage will be unavailable as the data center where it is stationed has no cooling due a leak in the main campus chilled water loop near Ward Hall. They do not have an expected repair, and this may linger through the weekend.

This effects individuals that mount the following drives:

This maintenance has been completed.

NTS will be performing network maintenance affecting Library Annex and Executive Court on 6/29/22 between noon and 1pm. Wired and wireless services from the buildings to main campus resources and the internet will be impacted during this time.

Update 6/3/2022 at 2:13PM StaffNet is available again, and can be accessed without utilizing the VPN.

Update 6/3/2022 at 1:16PM StaffNet will be unavailable today 6/3/2022 from 2PM-2:30PM so an Emergency Patch can be applied.

Due to an unpatched critical vulnerability in the software that runs StaffNet, we have restricted access to campus. If you need to access StaffNet from off-campus you will need to utilize the VPN. Once a patched version is released, we will schedule maintenance to apply the fix, and relax the restrictions at that point.

The library website will be unavailable for a short period of time today at 5:30 PM Wed Jun 8th so that we can roll back a patch from this morning which affected some auxillary services for staff and the public.
