(14:34 — Mar 11) Reindexing has been completed. Please submit a ticket if you encounter any issues.
K-REx will be unavailable starting at 12PM on 3/11/2024. We will be upgrading the frontend and backend systems to the latest release of DSpace.
Once the system has been upgraded, we will start reindexing the content so it is discoverable, and this should take about an hour to complete, but students will be able to submit documents while this is happening.

Currently the SSL Certificate for hdl.handle.net has been revoked, so some browsers are stopping access to the the site. This impacts both K-REx and any site that utilizies the Handle Service from CNRI.
We have reached out to their support, and are waiting for a response.
This is resolved. We haven’t yet finalized the root cause analysis, but the most likely explanation is a mistake made by us while requesting a new certificate, which had been scheduled for update early in December. We apologize for the inconvenience.

KU has reported a power issue at one of the data centers we occupy in Lawrence. This is affecting a number of services. No estimate on when the issue will be resolved.

The current impact on Library systems is some of our systems are not able to send emails out. This includes our ticketing system. However, it is not affecting emails sent from Springshare Products, Alma, or ILLiad.

(15:50 — Aug 31) – All signs are currently up. We do have another follow up call with the vendor later today, and will update this once we have more information.
(15:00 — Aug 31) – The only sign at this time not updating is one of the signs for 581. We do have another follow up call with the vendor later today, and will update this once we have more information.
(13:20 — Aug 31) – We are still working with the vendor to restore the signs back to 100%. At this time, the following rooms are not displaying correct information: 103A, 103F, 103H, 103J, 103K, 109, 181 (one of the signs), 407, and 581 (one of the signs).
We are experiencing some issues with our E-ink Displays (JOAN replacements). We are working on a solution and will send out another notice, when the issue is resolved.
